Welcome to Olivet Preschool!  

Olivet Preschool is celebrating its 29th year of ministering to the families of Evansville's north side! Originally named Olivet Nursery School, the school opened in 1982 with a full enrollment of 37 children.  Since its onset, Olivet Preschool has continued to provide quality academic learning experiences for pre-school aged children.  Its mission is to give children a variety of hands-on experiences while helping prepare children for Kindergarten in a warm Christian environment. Today, Olivet Preschool has grown to a potential of 78 children being enrolled in our regular preschool classes with an additional 25 children being enrolled in our Fun Friday program.  With a full-time director and a team of qualified and dedicated teachers, our commitment remains the same... to educate children, to serve their families and to show the love of Jesus Christ to all who enter our doors. 
 

Commitment to Children

All Classes help develop social and emotional skills as well as language, cognitive and the physical development of the children.  A variety of themes are used to teach the children and to foster their interest in areas such as:
  • Health and nutrition
  • Community Helpers
  • Seasons
  • Dinosaurs
  • Safety
In helping our parents prepare their children for the optimum learning experiences, Olivet Preschool works in conjunction with the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation.  Periodically during the school year progress reports and parent-teacher conferences are made available so that parents can obtain feedback from the teacher with regards to their child's progress.
